Global Health Representative: No cases of corona in Yemen

The Resident Representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen, Altaf Mosani, announced on Tuesday, that Yemen is free of any infection with the Corona virus.

Mosani said in a speech about the developments of the new Corona virus, that “Yemen is still free of the Corona virus, until Monday evening.”

He said that we “closely follow all the rumors that spread on social media, and certainly the rapid response teams in the field, which verify all these rumors,” stressing that: “There are no cases of infection.”

He expressed appreciation for the efforts of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Britain, for their contribution in providing facilities for the landing of the plane carrying medical supplies for the Corona virus at the capital’s airport in Aden Monday evening.

Aden International Airport, received on Monday a plane with equipment to conduct a corona virus examination, and protection measures for health workers, and many humanitarian aid.
