Governor Lamlas confirms his full support for efforts to combat drugs in the capital Aden

The Governor of Aden the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, assured the local authority’s full support for any efforts made to combat drugs by all official or community bodies in the capital.
The Governor Lamlas stressed, during his meeting on Tuesday, with Ms. Suad Alawi, Head of Aden Center for Awareness of the Danger of Drugs, on the necessity of doubling efforts and intensifying awareness programs against the dangers of drugs and their spread and promotion to protect and immunize youth from this dangerous scourge.
In the meeting, the governor of the capital Aden, listened from Ms. Suad Alawi to a full explanation of the programs implemented by Aden Center and the action plans for awareness activities against drug dangers.
During the meeting, Ms. Suad Alawi noted societal concern about the dangerous spread of drugs in the capital Aden, calling for the need to search for effective mechanisms and solutions to eliminate them permanently.
Alawi stressed on the importance of supporting and rehabilitating the security cadre specialized in this field, as well as preparing awareness and training programs for security checkpoints personnel.
