Governor Lamlas discusses with directors of districts ways to address several issues top of which the lands issues

The governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, discussed with the directors general of the districts, and director general of lands, and head of the Land Protection Force, and the deputy of public works and roads, ways to address a number of issues and problems facing directorates of districts, foremost of which is the lands file.

The meeting discussed several mechanisms and plans to confront the issues facing the local authorities in the districts, most notably the file of lands, utilities and government facilities, stressing the importance of concerted efforts by everyone to stop the tampering and abuses that affected lands and property in Aden the capital.

 

The governor stressed the importance of supporting the officials in the protection of lands, stressing that whoever interferes in this work is a violation, stressing also on cooperation with strengthening mechanisms of control and sincerity in working towards preventing manipulation in state property and applying the procedures followed in protecting and preserving lands.

Lamlas indicated that the law is clear about opening investment contracts, provided that it is in coordination with the local authorities, and directed directors of the districts to stop any investment contract that does not bear the signature and approval of the governor.

The Governor Lamlas directed with a number of assignments to define and preserve the landmarks of the Great Park of Aden, to look into the violations of the Corniche in KhorMaksar, in addition to opening the 50th Road in Al-Memadara, and holding a meeting after ten days with directors of districts and financial managers with a team specializing in financial resources to organize work and control revenue to serve Aden, in addition to a number of recommendations discussed at the meeting.
