Governor Lamlas inaugurates compensations payments to those affected by the events in Crater

The governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, on Thursday, inaugurated the payment of compensations to those affected by the recent events in Crater city of Aden the capital.
This came during his meeting, at the local authority building in the Al-Mualla district, with a number of those affected, in the presence of the Special Committee for Compensation headed by Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, Undersecretary of the capital, Aden, for Development Affairs, and Mr. Abdul-Fattah Al-Qutaibi, Undersecretary of the Capital, Aden, and Walid Al-Sarari, Director of the Construction Office, and Director-General of the Seerah Directorate, Dr. Mahmoud bin Jaradi
In a speech during the meeting, Governor Lamlas expressed his regret over the recent events in the ancient city of Crater, which has known since ancient times with the simplicity of its residents and their coexistence within a cohesive social fabric, but some individuals tried to reflect a different image of those characteristics that characterize the residents of this city.
Governor Lamlas assured that the local authority will work hard to restore Crater to its beautiful historical position, and will take care of restoring its historic streets with the help of all the people of the capital, Aden.
The Governor of Lamles addressed the attendees by saying: “Whatever the compensation is, it cannot compensate for the loss of lives that were lost, yet the local authority was keen on reparation and guidance to the highest limit,” noting that the monitoring and evaluation process was complementary between the concerned committee, the Public Works and Roads Office, and the Traffic Department. .
For their part, those affected spoke that safety and stability is the greatest compensation, and it is the priority for them, praising this step, and presenting in the context their thanks and appreciation to the Governor of the Capital and the committee that was assigned to monitor for its continuous interest and descent.
