Governor Lamlas inaugurates high school exams in Aden the capital

The governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, inaugurated on Sunday, the general secondary schools exams for the academic year 2020-2021 at Al-Bayhani school for boys, and Bakathir school for girls, in Seerah district, in the capital Aden.
Upon his arrival at Al-Bayhani High School with Major General Mutahhar Ali Naji, Director General of Aden Police, in which they were received by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Training and Rehabilitation Sector, Mr. Hussein Bafkhasous, and Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Shawdari, Assistant Undersecretary for the Curriculum and Guidance Sector, and Director General of the Education Office, Dr. Mohammad Al-Ruqaibi, in addition to representatives of UNICEF, and the Acting Director General of the district of Seerah, Aish Qadri, and a number of officials in the district.
The governor and his escorts toured a number of exam halls, and reviewed the students’ situation and ensured the availability of an appropriate and calm atmosphere for them.
On his visit to Bakathir High School for Girls, the governor directed to provide all the requirements and needs of the examination process, so that male and female students in all districts of the capital can take their exams in a comfortable and calm atmosphere.
After the inauguration process, the governor made a press statement to the media, in which he said: “Today, we inaugurated with the Ministry of Education and its office in Aden, the high school exams, and we are in this tiring and annoying stage for our students with the continued spread of the Corona pandemic, but there are precautionary and preventive measures that have been put in place in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population and the UNICEF.
Governor Lamlas added: “We directed all civil and security authorities to provide a calm and appropriate atmosphere for our students, away from noise and disturbance, to enable them to perform their exams smoothly.”
