Governor Lamlas meets regional director of the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Organization

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, met on Wednesday, Mr. Ali Batit, the regional director of the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Organization.

The meeting discussed several issues related to the activities of the organization in Aden the capital including the implementation of a number of development and relief projects in the city.

At the outset of the meeting, that was attended by the Director of the Health Office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Bishi, and the Commissioner of Al-Buraiqa, Dr. Salah Al-Bishi, Lamlas expressed the willingness of the local authority to provide support and facilities for the success of the organization’s efforts in the capital, Aden.

Governor Lamlas appreciated the Kuwaiti relief and development projects in the capital, Aden, pointing to the imprints of the State of Kuwait present in the fields of health, education and other sectors.

He stressed the keenness of the local authority in the capital, Aden, to achieve societal and service benefits through projects that meet the needs of reality, and the requirements and priorities of the local community.

The meeting between the two sides ended with an agreement to launch a project to establish a health unit in the Al-Buraiqa district, in addition to supporting a nutrition program in a number of districts to the capital, Aden.
