SMA NEWS – Aden the Capital

The governor of Aden the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, renewed his full support for the teachers’ legitimate demands to settle and improve their employment conditions.

The governor appreciated the efforts of the teachers in Aden and their keenness on the future of their students, and the conduct of the educational process in light of the difficult living conditions resulting from many reasons, most notably the deterioration of the local currency against foreign currencies, stressing that this is a national stance that is counted for that leading community group.

This came during his meeting on Sunday, with the leadership of the Southern Teachers Syndicate in Aden, and in presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Bader Moawn, in which the Governor reviewed the steps for following up on teachers ’entitlements with the relevant authorities in the government, indicating that things are on their right track.

The Governor affirmed that he would continue to follow up on the implementation of his obligations to them and double his efforts to extract their full rights, and that his efforts did not and will not stop until the teachers in Aden obtain their full legitimate rights, pointing out that he is currently studying a number of options aimed at helping teachers and relieving some of their burdens of daily life.

During the meeting, a number of union leaders spoke about the problems that the education sector faces, which reflected on the teachers themselves, as well as their suffering due to the outrageous increasing in prices in all the requirements of daily life.

They renewed their thanks and appreciation to the Governor who maintained his responsible stance on their side and their great confidence in him and in his efforts to solve their problem, calling on the government to assume its responsibilities towards them, and realize their suffering, and release all their dues.
