Governor Lamlas signs contracts for 5 projects in sectors of hygiene, public works and roads

The governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, on Thursday, signed contracts for five projects in the sectors of hygiene, improvement, public works and roads.
The projects, which were signed by Governor Lamlas and representatives of companies and institutions working in the field of contracting, including the purchase and supply of two locomotives (headers + trailers), ten dumpers with a load of 3 tons, 500 barrels and 50 garbage containers for the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, and the purchase and supply of two towers (cranes), for the Office of Public Works and Roads, as part of the capital’s emergency investment program that was prepared at the beginning of this year, at a total cost of one billion four hundred and eighty-one million two hundred and forty thousand riyals.
After the contracts were signed, the governor of the capital, Aden, urged the contractors with whom contracts were concluded to abide by the technical specifications for such equipment, and the time-limit for implementation set out in the terms of the agreement contracts, stressing the supervisory authorities, not to tolerate any violations or exceed the provisions of the agreement.
It is worth noting that there is a package of other projects in a number of service sectors whose procedures will be completed and as the implementation contracts to be signed within the next few weeks.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Capital, Aden, Badr, Moawon Saeed, and the Undersecretary of the Projects Sector, Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamki, and the directors of the concerned executive offices.
