Governor of Aden the capital meets directors of districts and Transport Committee

The Governor of Aden the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, held a meeting with the directors-general of the districts and the Transport Committee to restore busses sorting system and traffic movement, in the presence of the governorate’s Undersecretary for Development Affairs, Mr. Adnan Al-Kaf, and the Deputy Governor of Aden the capital, the Chairman of the Transport Committee, Mr. Khalid Al-Jimalani, and the Director of Aden the capital Security, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi.

During the meeting, the governor stressed the necessity of arranging public transportation in the governorate, re-working and reorganizing the sorting with the aim of addressing the problems of the traffic lines and arriving at a pricing mechanism.

The Governor of Aden the capital directed the Transport Committee, consisting of the Deputy Governor of Aden the capital, Khaled Al-Jimalani, as chairman, Colonel Jamal Dayan, director of the traffic police in the capital, Aden, and Ms. Magda Qatn, director of the transport office in the governorate, and Mr. Ahmed Salem, head of the Internal Transport Union, to work on following up all the procedures and steps related to the organization of transport work, starting from Tawahi district on Tuesday, stressing the readiness of the local authority and the security of Aden the capital to work with them side by side and actually go down to the ground in order to restore and activate the work of the institutions in a proper and legal manner, and the priority today is in transportation.

The governor urged the directors general of the districts to facilitate the work of the committee and to create an integrated matrix that explains the possibilities, difficulties, solutions and treatments, both according to the reality of the district, provided that it be implemented within a week.
