Governor of Hadhramaut directs to implement campaigns to improve city of Mukalla

The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi approved, on Monday in Mukalla, the implementation of a campaign to remove waste of construction and car bodies scattered in public streets, and a campaign to poison stray dogs, and improve the city’s landmarks and rehabilitate tours and afforestation triangles.
The governor directed the preparation of an integrated report of the fund’s resources and expenses, and its future plan, including defining the directions of its work for the cleanliness and improvement of the city, and a mechanism for coordinating work between the Public Works and Roads offices and the local authority in the districts of Mukalla City, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund and the Office of Industry and Trade.
Bin Madi also instructed to prepare a mechanism for imposing fines on violators of paying cleaning and improvement fees according to the new amendments to the fees regulation, stressing the need to achieve a remarkable change for the city of Mukalla, in line with its importance as the front of the governorate and its capital.
