Governor of Hadramout directs for formation of a committee to assess conditions of Al-Wadiah land port

The Governor of Hadramawt, Mabkhout bin Madi, on Sunday, directed to form a committee to assess and study the conditions of Al-Wadiah land port, concerned with identifying the needs for developing the main port and making recommendations to facilitate the movement of passengers and vehicles.
The committee included Dr. Ahmed Salem Basarih, Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Engineer Amin Saeed Barzeeq, Undersecretary of the Governorate for Technical Affairs, and Engineer Hisham Muhammad Al-Saeedi, Assistant Undersecretary for Valley and Desert Affairs.
Its membership also included Mohammed Salih bin Jarbou’ al-Say’ari, Assistant Undersecretary of the Governorate for Desert Affairs, Abdullah Salmeen bin Hobeish, Director of Valley and Desert Security – Member, Awad Yaslam al-Ajem, Director General of the Ministry of Finance’s Office, and Mutlaq Mubarak al-Say’ari, Director General of Al-Wadiah Land Port.
The decision obligated the committee to assess the progress of work at the temporary port and raise the requirements for the speedy transfer of activity to the main port, evaluate the administrative, financial, technical and security work at the port, and determine the needs and priorities related to the rehabilitation and development of the main port.
The Governor of Hadramawt also directed to inspect the general plan of the port and the industrial area on the ground, to raise any violations of the directive plan, and to raise recommendations related to facilitating the movement of passengers and vehicles and securing the road.
