Governor of Shabwa inaugurates the new generation unit in Ataq Electricity station

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, on Sunday, inaugurated the new generation unit at Ataq Central Power Station, with a capacity of 10 megawatts, in the presence of a number of officials in the sector.

bin Al-Wazir stressed the role of the new generation unit at the station in enhancing the productive capacities of energy, in an effort to meet the needs of citizens for electricity, revealing work on next steps to stabilize the electricity system.

The Governor of Shabwa appreciated the efforts to install and operate the station and the modernity of the automated system in its operation, calling for the need to preserve it, and pay attention to periodic maintenance programs to achieve maximum benefit.
