Governor of Shabwa inspects UAE-funded solar power plant project

Awad bin Al-Wazir, Governor of Shabwa, visited the site of the solar power plant project in the western region of Ataq city, funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
bin Al-Wazir expressed his keenness to follow up on the work progress on the project, stressing the importance of adhering to the technical specifications and timetable of the project, considering the station as one of the effective solutions to overcome the electricity deficit that the governorate suffers from.
The Governor of Shabwa said that the project represents one of the fruits of the generous and continuous support from the sheikhs, government and people of the United Arab Emirates for the people of Shabwa Governorate, to achieve the desired development and support vital projects.
Bin Al-Wazir was briefed by the engineers supervising the level of completion of the project and the construction and building works completed so far, praising the great progress achieved in the construction works.
