Governor of the Capital receives ambassadors of the European Union at local authority office in Aden

The Governor of Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, said that the visit of the European Union delegation to the capital, Aden, has many indications, and it comes as a message of peace and love, and sends messages to the world that Aden is safe, stable and proceeding normally.
This came during Lamlas’ meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union, when he received them at the local authority office in the capital, Aden.
The Ambassadors of the European Union listened from the Governor of Aden the capital to explanation about the general situation in the city, and highlighted the needs for the local authority in Aden to deal with the level of destroyed infrastructure, and the cooperation of the local authorities with the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the interventions of international organizations as well as the European Union, calling on them to push the wheel of the economy and activate Aden’s commercial role through its strategic port in the region.
The EU ambassadors expressed their happiness at the warm reception they received from the governor, expressing their denunciation, regret, and intense resentment over the recent terrorist incident that targeted the governor, in which four of his crew were martyred and a number of wounded.
