Hadhramy Graduates of Oil Engineering continue their Appeals to All Hadhramaut Conference
[su_label type=”info”]Hadhramaut – SAMA NEWS -Salah Bo Abbas [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Hadhramy Graduates of Oil Engineering initiated a sit-in in front of the extraordinary meeting of All Hadhramaut Conference in Al-Makla and deliver their demands to the conference’s supreme committee. Hussain Baras, spokesman of protesters recited a message saying: we were the first to support the conference and issued a formal statement on 24-4-2017 to indorse its outcomes. We still hope that the conference will work for the good of all Hadhramaut’s citizens through these outcomes. The message indicated the demands as follows:
• Hadhramy Graduates of Oil Engineering are to be recruited in oil companies working in Hadhramaut as a top priority
• All illegal previous recruitments should be nulled and turned to justice investigations
• HQs of Oil companies working in Hadhramaut should be transferred to Hadhramaut
• Hadhramaut should gain 50% of oil revenues in compensation of unjust deprivations in the past
• All companies should work on environmental safety and sustainable development according to international codes
• Companies should provide graduates with necessary training in coordination with the university
Hadhramy Graduates of Oil Engineering, more than 700 oil engineers, suggested that they should be represented in the conference to help in decision making.
