Hadramout Communication Committee reveals first proposal to meet citizens’ demands

Khaled Al-Kathiri, spokesman for the Communication Committee to achieve Hadramout’s demands, revealed the committee’s intention to communicate with the components, political and social forces, and public figures in the governorate, in order to unify efforts and raise a comprehensive vision for mechanisms to achieve citizens’ demands.

Al-Kathiri said that the committee seeks to establish a fund to manage the revenues of fuel “diesel”, supported by PetroMasila Company to balance the prices of petroleum derivatives and cover basic electricity needs, and spend on basic facilities such as education, health, and necessary projects.

He stressed that the committee is keen to ensure integrity, transparency, and oversight through the participation of all relevant authorities, such as the Central Organization for Control, Accounting, and Combating Corruption, noting that a proposal has been made to allocate 3 million barrels of crude oil to establish electrical facilities to cover the current energy deficit.
