Harro decides to return quotas of subsidized diesel to citizens

SMA NEWS – HARRO
Hadhramout Public Meeting Committee (Harro) held a meeting on Tuesday, headed by Sheikh\ Hassan bin Saeed Al-Jabri, demanding the local authority to return to the diesel allocation system in the coast of Hadhramout.
The committee discussed the mechanism for distributing diesel among citizens, and the electricity crisis in Hadhramaut coast, refusing to take possession of the allocation on the pretext of supporting the electricity sector in the absence of any improvement in it.
Al-Jabri said that the provision of electricity from diesel continues without interruption at the limits of 500,000 to 600,000 liters per day, pointing out that the provision of diesel for citizens has been stopped under the pretext of subsidizing electricity in the coast.
Al-Jabri pointed to the arrival of two ships loaded with oil derivatives for the benefit of the Electricity Corporation, with quantities estimated at 10,000 tons of diesel, and 8,000 tons of diesel.
