Head of Negotiations Affairs Unit and negotiating delegation offer condolences on demise of Sultan Fadhl Al-Afifi

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the Council’s Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, along with the negotiating delegation, offered condolences on the death of Sultan Fadhl Mohammed bin Aidarous Al-Afifi, this came during a visit they paid to the funeral tent for the deceased, which was set up by Yafea tribe in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit conveyed the condolences of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, to the family of the late Sultan Fadl Al-Afifi, especially Yafea, and to our people in the South, praising the long struggle history of Sultan Al-Afifi, and his family throughout their historical feats that will remain in the brightest pages of history.

Dr. Al-Khubaji expressed to the family of the late Sultan Al-Afifi his deepest and sincerest condolences, considering the Sultan’s departure at this delicate stage in the history of our people as a loss for the homeland and for all the southern people.

At the conclusion of the condolences, the member of the Presidency, official spokesperson for the Southern Transitional Council, delivered a speech in which he stressed that the deceased represents a southern national icon and a descendant of a struggling family that wrote a bright history in resisting the British colonialism, and that his demise represented a great loss for the South, asking Allah Almighty to accept the deceased with mercy and forgiveness and to dwell in vast paradise and inspires his family and relatives patience and solace.
