Head of Negotiations Affairs Unit stresses importance of academics in developing political visions of STC

The Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, stressed the importance of the role of southern academics and thinkers in supporting the political efforts led by the leadership of STC at the regional and international levels.

This came during his meeting with the coordinator body of STC at the universities of Aden and Abyan, in which Dr. Al-Khubaji discussed with the southern academics the latest political developments locally, regionally and internationally, and reviewed with them the results of the consultations conducted by the negotiating team with the Arab coalition countries, and the ambassadors of the brotherly and friendly countries, and the efforts to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, and the developments of the political process led by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to end the conflict in the region within the framework of a comprehensive political process in which the Southern Transitional Council will play a pivotal role as representative of the people of the South and their just cause.

Dr. Al-Khubaji called on the heads and members of the coordinating of STC in the universities of the South, to make more efforts to enhance the southern national cohesion and alignment and to confront the hostile projects that are trying to reproduce themselves after our people rejected them and sacrificed pure blood to defeat them and thwart their agendas.

In turn, the heads and members of STC’s coordinator at the universities of Aden and Abyan expressed their thanks and appreciation for the great efforts made by the leadership of the Transitional Council, represented by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, and the negotiating team of STC, to bring the issue of the people of the South to the regional and international decision-making, stressing their support for the leadership of STC in everything that would lead to victory for the South and its cause in the political and military battlefield.
