Head of STC in Shabwa inspects security checkpoints in Jardan

Lahmar Ali Lasoud, Head of the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa Governorate, on Tuesday, visited Jardan District to review the conditions of the area and its citizens.
During the visit, Lasoud met with Sheikh Ahmed Saleh Al-Aqel, sheikh of the Al Dhabab tribes, and a number of sheikhs, notables and social figures from the district.
Lasoud stressed the unification of everyone’s efforts to resolve differences in general, calling for unifying ranks, arbitrating reason, and giving priority to the interests of Shabwa and its people.
During an inspection of a number of security points on the road linking the capital, Ataq, and the Jardan District, he said that these efforts aim to stop bloodshed, preserve lives, and enhance security and stability in the governorate.
The head of the STC’s executive body in Shabwa also inspected the level of discipline at security points and the implementation of tasks, congratulating the soldiers and officers on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
