Head of Transitional Council Foreign Office in Canada pays condolences on death of chief Palestinian negotiator, Dr. Saeb Erekat

The head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs Office of the Southern Transitional Council in Canada, Abdul Karim Ahmed Saeed, paid his condolences for the death of Dr. Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator in the peace talks, the secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and a prominent leader in Fatah movement.
This came during a visit to the Palestinian embassy in Ottawa, on Friday, within his diplomatic missions in Canada, in which Saeed conveyed Ambassador Hala Abu Khedira, the condolences of President, Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, on the death of Dr. Saeb Erekat, expressing the leadership of the Transitional Council and the people of the South all sharing with the brotherly Palestinian people their grief for this painful loss.
Saeed added, “The deceased, Erekat, was one of the most prominent defenders of the Palestinian cause, and with his death, Palestine and the Arab and Islamic nations lost a fighter and a solid resistant, and a fierce defender of his cause and his people.”
