Head of Women and Children Department in the Council: We value efforts of engaging southern women to contribute to the success of the self-administration
Ishtiaq Mohammad Saad, head of the Women and Children Department at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council delivered a speech of her on Sunday, during the inauguration of the work of the oversight committees in the self-administration of the South in the capital, Aden.
Ishtiaq said: “We all know the role of the southern woman and her ability to manage things in the darkest conditions, so we value the efforts of self-administration decisions to involve her in working alongside the man to contribute to the success of the work of self-administration,”
Ishtiaq added: ” Today we are here with you, blessing the decision of self-administration and launching the work of the oversight committees in it because of its great importance through which we seek to revive a country that almost uttered its last breath, and we, the women of the south seek to be supportive, contributing and supportive to any work that leads this country to reach safety.”
The head of the Women and Children Department of the Council stressed: “I, as a southern woman and on behalf of all southerners, are stronger at the hands of our political leadership and our negotiating delegation in Riyadh led by President Commander Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, head of the Southern Transitional Council, and we count on them in their external political negotiating front that is no less in its struggle confrontations than the internal front of the self-administration.”
Ishtiaq stressed that the southern woman will have a major role through her contribution to the monitoring and follow-up process in the institutions, facilities and sectors of the state according to the program and the mechanism established by the self-administration of the south, as the southern woman is a strong tributary and an active component in translating the goals of the supervisory work on the path to correct and reform any imbalances or deficiencies or weaknesses in the various sectors of the state, for the benefit and good of the country and the citizens.
The head of the Women and Children Department of the Council concluded her speech by congratulating the women of the South who were chosen and involved by the self-administration of this massive national action, stressing by saying, as we have been entrusted by our leadership, that they feel the importance of the role of women, we know you, southern women, a successful racer in every work entrusted to you and all tasks that you do.
