With leaders of Transitional Council at forefront… Venerable funeral for martyr Commander Jawas and his companions in Radfan


Thousands of southerners, with popular and formal presence, on Friday, attended venerable and massive funeral procession, of the martyr Commander Major General Thabet Muthanna Jawas, and his companions who were martyred, last Wednesday evening, in a cowardly and treacherous terrorist operation north of the capital, Aden.

The funeral procession, presented by symbolic units of the Southern Armed Forces, moved from Ibn Khaldoun Hospital in the Tuban district of Lahj governorate, and arrived at the martyr’s birthplace in Habeel Al-Sabbah in Habeel Al-Jabr of Radfan district, in which prayers were performed over the bodies of the martyrs that were covered with the flag of the South and buried in their graves.

The funeral procession was attended by Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, and Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Major General Mohsen Askar, Advisor to the President of the Council for Military Affairs, Brigadier General Ali Ahmed Al-Bishi, Commander of the Southern Land Forces, and Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, the General Commander of the Security Belt Forces, in addition to southern military and security leaders, who offered their condolences to the families of the martyrs, and conveyed to them the condolences of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, asking the Almighty Allah to bestow mercy and forgiveness on the martyrs and dwell them in vast gardens and inspire their families and loved ones patience and solace.
