Health Director of #Hadhramaut: People contacted with the #Corona case in Al Shehr reached 300
The director of Hadramaut Health, Dr. Riyad Al-Jariri, revealed the latest developments regarding the confirmed case of Corona, indicating that the necessary measures were taken quickly regarding 18 contacts with it.
He emphasized that the extended contacts with the infected reached 300 people, indicating that the necessary isolation was made for all contacts and laboratory tests were conducted for the cases.
Al-Jariri stated during a press conference on Saturday, that the person with corona is likely to be infected with the virus through contact with the crew of one of the ships.
Noting that the infected person visited a hospital in the city of Al-Shehr after feeling some initial symptoms of the disease, before being transferred to Al-Shehr Hospital to take the necessary measures in this regard.
He noted that the patient’s condition at the present time is stable, and that the treatment plan for the infected is managed by the medical staff in Hadramout after taking into account the experiences of other countries in facing the virus.
