High-ranking European delegation including ambassadors arrives in Aden to meet the government

A high-ranking delegation from the European Union that includes a number of ambassadors arrived on Saturday in the capital Aden to meet with the Yemeni government.

A government source said that a European delegation arrived on a private plane to Aden, which includes the European Union ambassador and the ambassadors of France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Ireland and Finland.

The visit – according to the source – comes within the framework of the new government’s support for normalizing the situation in Aden the capital, and completing the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, and the solidarity with the government against the attack that targeted it at Aden airport in late December.
