High Relief Committee of Transitional Council approves strict implementation of field procedures to confront #Corona
Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Secretariat, chaired on Tuesday an emergency meeting of the High Relief Committee, with the attendance of Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Presidency Authority, head of the local leadership in the capital Aden, deputy chairman of the Council’s Relief and Humanitarian Works Committee, and lawyer Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, vice-Chairman of the Chairman of the National Assembly, and in the presence of heads of local leadership, heads of the committee in the governorates of “Lahj – Abyan – Al-Dhalea”.
In the meeting Dr. Al-Wali explained the emergency plan approved by the committee, and the actual steps that were taken to confront the emerging virus Covid-19 in the capital Aden, and the possibility of implementing this plan in the governorates of Lahj, Abyan and Al-Dhalea.
The meeting discussed the financial possibilities available to implement these plans in all governorates and the establishment of quarantines in the governorates and ways to protect citizens from this virus.
The meeting stressed on the need to implement and monitor the implementation of the curfew decision issued by President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, and to take deterrent and punitive methods towards anyone who tries to violate these procedures and decisions that are all in the interest of the security and safety of the citizens.
