Homeland Shield: Targeting our forces in Hadhramaut will not deter us from confronting terrorism, smuggling and chaos

SMA NEWS – AL-ABR
Homeland Shield forces confirmed that the terrorist attack that targeted its members on the Al-Abr road in Hadhramaut Governorate, which resulted in the martyrdom of soldier Salem Ahmed Baqdeem and the injury of another, will not deter it from performing its national duty in combating terrorism and confronting smuggling gangs and bandits, and thwarting any attempts to spread chaos and destabilize security and stability.

The forces stressed that these cowardly attacks will only increase their determination to pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice, stressing that targeting them at this time reflects the extent of the discomfort felt by terrorist groups and smuggling gangs from the security successes achieved by the forces in curbing smuggling and imposing stability in vital areas.

The attack took place in the Al-Abr area, a desert area that is a vital artery linking the eastern governorates to Yemen. The road is known as a major crossing for travelers and trade, but at the same time it witnesses repeated security threats due to the activity of terrorist groups and bandits.

This attack comes after a series of security operations carried out by the Homeland Shield forces in the region, which targeted smuggling and terrorist gangs, which led to the thwarting of attempts to smuggle weapons and contraband across the desert lines.

In addition, the Homeland Shield expressed its deep regret and condolences to the family of the martyred soldier Salem Baqdeem, stressing that the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain, and that it is continuing to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice to receive just punishment, and it wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
