The Vice President of the Southern National Media Authority, Mukhtar Al-Yafei, attended in Aden the capital a Ramadan evening honoring of a selective alit of journalists, media members, and writers in the capital, Aden. The evening was organized by the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate under the auspices of the Southern National Media Authority, with the participation of Mr. Aidarous Bahashwan, President of the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate.

In his speech, Al-Yafei conveyed his greetings to the attendees on his behalf and on behalf of the President of the Southern National Media Authority, Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi. He expressed his pride in participating in this blessed Ramadan evening to honor a select group of media and journalism pioneers in the south who devoted their lives and efforts to conveying the truth, elevating the voice of society, and contributing to building an enlightened awareness that serves the people’s issues and preserves noble values.

In his speech, Al-Yafei saluted those pioneers for whom journalism and media were not just a profession, but a passion and a mission, which they carried despite all the challenges. They continued to work with dedication, serving as a sincere voice and beacon for future generations.

For his part, Aidarous Bahashwan praised the role of the Southern National Media Authority in nurturing and supporting pioneering and young journalists and media members, noting that this event affirms the presence of the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate among those working in journalism and media, past, present, and future.

The Syndicate’s captain, Bahashwan, emphasized that this honoring reflects the decisions of the General Conference of Southern Journalists and Media Members, which the Syndicate has adopted as one of its most important current directions.

The ceremony also featured the distribution of certificates of appreciation to a number of prominent media figures, journalists, and writers in the capital, Aden.

The ceremony also featured a performance of Muwashahat and religious hymns by the Aden Culture Office band.
