#Houthi leaders sell a school in #Sana’a with Billions
In a strange incident, the Houthi militia sold the yard of Al-Shaab School in Sana’a to an investor who constructed shops and buildings on it.
A source said that the value of the deal exceeded three billion riyals, distributed among influential Houthi leaders, including Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Minister of Education in the unrecognized Houthi government and the brother of the militia leader, who had the Largest share.
The source added that the new construction cut off the entire area and courtyard of the Al-Shaab’s secondary school, noting that the investor demolished the school wall and enclosures in its yard and built shops and apartments.
The source clarified that the school is located near Bab Al Salam Market, in which wholesalers are concentrated, and trade of imported goods.
