Human Rights Department of the Southern Transitional Council Launches a Training Workshop for Southern Security Personnel
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] On Sunday April 29th, 2018, Human Rights Department of the Southern Transitional Council launched a training workshop for southern security personnel under the title of “Mental and Psychological Preparation of Security Personnel for the Service of Citizens and the Country”. Nearly (50) security soldiers participated in the workshop for two days as they took lectures about law enforcement, the constitution, legal jurisdiction of governmental bodies, human rights principles, legal and ethical behavior and personal responsibility towards issues of the country and citizens. The workshop is part of the project launched by the human rights department under the title of “Human Rights and Security”. Niran Sawquy, member of the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and Zikra Matoqu, chairman of Human Rights Department at the general assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, attended the opening session of the workshop.
