Human Solidarity Association Bury 39 Victims of the Afflicted Boat in Hadhramaut Coast
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Hadhramaut – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Human Solidarity Association announced that 50 migrants were saved from 100 and 39 dead bodies were retrieved in a rescue mission of a sunken boat started at dawn of Wednesday June 6th, 2018 and is still continuing in Sharg Ben Taleb – Hadhramaut. The boat voyage was from Basaso – Somalia to Yemen for nearly 20 hours.
Survivors indicated that they were put on boat near Yemeni coasts as the boat was carrying 100 persons (83 men and 17 women). The boat started sinking because of rough sea. Only 50 persons (7 women and 43 men) were rescued. Human Solidarity Association retrieved the dead bodies of 9 women and 30 men and search is still undergoing for other survivors or dead bodies. The association buries the bodies according to burial permission of security bodies. Other details to follow later.
