Iftar banquet is held in Abyan under auspices of UAE Red Crescent

An iftar banquet for the fasting people was held in the city of Jaar in Khanfar district of Abyan Governorate, on Sunday, under the auspices of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Red Crescent.

350 fasting meals were distributed in the Grand Mosque in Jaar, with help and support of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan.

The Emirates Red Crescent pays special attention to such charitable activities and works that target poor and needy families who suffer from difficult living conditions.

For their part, the citizens expressed their happiness with this humanitarian gesture by the Emirates Red Crescent and those in charge of the Iftar banquet.
