Important letter from Ministry of Foreign Affairs to international organizations operating in the country

In an official letter sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to international organizations under the title “Very Important”, in which they informed them to activate the office of the Central Statistical Organization in the capital, Aden, with its capacity as the government agency officially authorized to collect data in all its forms under Law 28 of 1995 regarding statistics and its organizational regulations.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of international organizations communicating with the Central Bureau of Statistics in Aden the capital regarding surveys and data collection, according to the contact information it specified in its letter.
The recent period witnessed international organizations resorting to surveys in partnership with unauthorized governmental and non-governmental agencies, and local organizations tended to conduct surveys in partnership with international organizations, without the knowledge of the Central Statistical Organization, which considered these actions targeting its tasks.
