Important statement from Chairman of Corona Virus Control Committee in Aden the capital
Dr. Salem Al-Shabahi, member of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, head of the Corona Virus Control Committee, said in a press statement on Wednesday, that all southern regions are free of the Corona virus.
Dr. Al-Shabahi demanded not to listen to the rumors and the usual copy-and-paste news among the social media groups that are not based on the reality of the information.
Al-Shabahi stressed on the need to investigate the truth and take information only from its official websites and sources.
He pointed out that there is an official spokesman in the Ministry of Health and Population, who is Dr. Ali Al-Waleedi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Primary Care Affairs, otherwise do not use any statements regarding the Corona virus.
He added that high leaderships in the Southern Transitional Council and the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Population and the higher government agencies are in continuous communication and everyone helps to direct the situation to get out of the disaster to safety.
Al-Shabahi added that we are members of the Corona Virus Control Committee and all the staff of Al-Amal Quarry and all hospitals and medical universities in the south and with the help of many we work day and night silently and around the clock and without tirelessly and all channels and contacts to communicate with us first, and this is a promise and a pledge from us that we do not hide any information which must be taken from its official sites, and who spread false news only in order to make the social media a destructive means of sowing confusion, fear and unjustified panic among our good and patient people.
At the end of his statement, Al-Shabahi thanked all parties cooperating with the committee to confront this epidemic .. calling on everyone to line up in one way against this issue with the available capabilities, and this catastrophe should be overcome in peace, health and wellness.
