In Aden the capital… A UN delegation confirms providing necessary support to improve level of technical and vocational education

The Deputy Minister of Higher, Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Abd Rabbuh Al-Mahwali, discussed with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) delegation the joint coordination process in implementing development projects and programs within the needs of technical education and vocational training in Yemen.
In the meeting, which was held in the capital, Aden, and attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, the Deputy Minister reviewed the general situation in technical and technological institutes in a number of governorates, the most important basic needs in developing the educational and training process, and ways to improve the level of general performance of educational and training institutions and the Ministry’s General Office and its offices in the governorates.
Al-Mahwali stressed the Ministry’s keenness to cooperate with international and local organizations to implement development and improvement projects and programs for the educational and training process in accordance with modern standards, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that Yemen is experiencing.
For its part, the delegation affirmed the readiness of the UNDP to provide the necessary support to improve the level of the technical and vocational education sector and its fields, and to work on networking with supporters to direct their projects towards enhancing the level of performance of technical and vocational education in a number of Yemeni governorates.
