The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, said that the Riyadh agreement is an important historical stage to the southern cause, by returning this issue to the forefront, and indicated in a dialogue broadcast by the Russian “RT” channel that the Riyadh agreement came at the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between us and the Yemeni government. He said: We are working on the Riyadh agreement with all our strength.
President Al-Zubaidi indicated that the guarantees for the implementation of the Riyadh agreement is upon Saudi Arabia. President Al-Zubaidi said: “We hope that the brothers in the Kingdom will have control over the situation and the implementation of the agreement”.
Al-Zubaidi stressed that the Southern Transitional Council is committed to the Riyadh Agreement, adding: “All the field procedures by us in the Southern Transitional Council have been completed, and we have paved the way for the first step which is to allow the government to start its activities and the second step to start military withdrawals and the third step will be to receive the governor and director of Aden’s security, and the formation of the government will follow.
