In his Meeting in Abian, Al-Kaf: The Council Will Never Abandon Dialogue
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Abian – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Brigadier Aidarous Hukais, chairman of the southern transitional council in Abian, Mr. Mohsen Abd, vice chairman and members of the executive commission of the local leadership of the council, received Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the presidency of the southern transitional council, and his accompanying delegation in the council’s headquarters in Abian. The meeting discussed the evaluation report of the council in Abian and future plans of work. The meeting also discussed the outcomes of meeting between Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, president of the southern transitional council, and Martin Griffith, UN delegate to Yemen. Al-Kaf indicated that the council will never abandon dialogue with all political powers that believe in independence and liberation. He added that recent meetings were held with former president Ali Nasser Mohamed and Mohamed Ali Ahmed. Al-Kaf asserted that the return of Ben Daghar to Adan was not approved by the council. He added that a TV channel that supports the council will be launched very soon.
Brigadier Hukais presented the achievements of the local leadership in Abian that included establishing local leaderships in all governorates and preparing the database of forcefully dismissed civilians and military personnel in addition to southern resistance members and unemployed graduates. The meeting discussed challenges that may face the work of the council during the upcoming year.
