In his Meeting with Economists, Al-Gaadi: We are Studying Our Economic Situation and How to Manage the Country’s Resources in Case we Have to Impose our Power and Save Our People from Famine and Death
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer] Economic department of the southern transitional council held a consultative meeting with economists and financial experts in the headquarters of the council’s general secretariat. Fadl Al-Gaadi, acting secretary general, and brigadier pilot Nasser Al-Saadi, member of the council’s presidency, attended the meeting.
Mohamed Ben Hammam, chairman of the economic department, and vice chairman Bassam Al-Maflahi, expressed their appreciation for response of attendants indicating the importance of the meeting to make use of experts’ opinions to create an inclusive economic vision that supports the future project of establishing the southern state.
Al-Gaadi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of academics and economic experts indicating the importance of economic affairs to the council. He added that politics and economics are closely related and the economic department is exerting a major effort in describing the economic status during the current stage so that the council can use these ideas in cases of emergencies.
Al-Gaddi also said: Politics represent concentrated economics. As politicians, we should understand economic paths and all its aspects, especially under current conditions with full economic collapse and deterioration of local currency due to corruption of administrative policies and corrupt systems.
He added that the council is observing the authorities’ practices and records all types of corruption and robbery of public money and abuse of authority that led the country to this misery. He added that the council will not keep silent towards hunger and humiliation policies practiced over the southern people and is studying all alternatives and measures to be taken in case the council has to interfere if things remained as it is without real solutions to eliminate corruption.
The meeting discussed the current economic situation, collapse of economy, systematic robbery of public money, money laundry administrative and financial corruption and authority abuse. The meeting also discussed alternative measures to fight corruption in Aden Refineries, national oil companies and other fortunes robbed by influential persons in the government.
