In implementation of the Riyadh agreement, two battalions withdrew from the southern forces in Abyan
The southern forces continue their withdrawal from their positions in Abyan governorate, in implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, according to the schedule set by the committee supervising the withdrawal of the forces.
The commander of the joint operations of the southern forces in the province of Abyan, Brigadier General Nasser Salem Abu Ayman, said that a battalion of the first infantry brigade and a battalion of the third brigade of the Thunderbolt of the Southern Transitional Council withdrew on Saturday, from their positions in the Sheikh Salem area in Abyan.
Brigadier Abu Ayman added that the southern forces carry out the withdrawal according to the time period specified by the committee supervising the implementation of what was included in the Riyadh agreement.
This is the fourth day that the southern forces have withdrawn from their positions in the Hassan Valley and Sheikh Salem area in Abyan governorate, in implementation of the Riyadh agreement
