In presence of Brigadier General Al-Saadi.. Transitional Council in Abyan celebrates 54th anniversary of National Independence Day

The Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan governorate, on Monday, organized an artistic, rhetorical and honorary ceremony in Zinjibar, on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day, the 30th of November.

Brigadier-General Pilot Nasser Al-Saadi, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, delivered a speech, at the outset of which he conveyed the congratulations and greetings of the political leadership headed by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, to the people of Abyan and all the southern people on the occasion of National Independence Day .

Brigadier Al-Saadi said: “When the anniversary of independence begins, memories fall apart and positions and lessons crowded out, which can be drawn from this glorious day.”

Al-Saadi affirmed that this celebration represents sincere loyalty and a pause for contemplation to know the values ​​for which October Revolution was established, and its culmination with this November victory, as it is the national station that brings us to the southern identity, and confirms our pioneering role in consolidating the values ​​of construction and belonging.

For his part, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shaqi, head of Transitional Council Executive in Abyan, delivered a speech congratulating the people of Abyan on this occasion, in which he referred to the sacrifices made by the people of the South until the achievement of national independence on November 30, referring to the achievements made by the South after independence.

Al-Shaqi reviewed some of the implications of the anniversary of national independence for the people of the South, stressing that the second independence march is moving towards achieving its desired goal, calling on everyone to have more cohesion, steadfastness, and priority for the public interest.

The ceremony varied between artistic sections, including poems and traditional dances and artistic performances, and presentation of national and revolutionary songs with the participation of a group of brilliant artists from Abyan governorate.

The National Committee for Women and the Association of the Handicapped also honored head of Transitional Council Executive in Abyan for the efforts he made through his continuous support for civil society organizations.

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Mukhtar al-Nubi, commander of the Abyan axis, Commander Abdul Latif al-Sayed, commander of the security belt, a number of security and military leaders, members of the National Assembly and the local leadership of Transitional Council in Abyan, and representatives of the local authority in the governorate.
