In presence of Lamlas… The arrival of equipment for final stage of solar energy station in Aden the capital

The energy discharge equipment for the 120-megawatt solar power plant in Aden the capital, afforded by the UAE, on Wednesday, arrived at the port of Aden.
During the ceremony to receive the shipment, the Governor of the capital, Aden, Minister of State, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, expressed his happiness at the arrival of the equipment for the final stage of the solar energy station.
Lamlas said that it is the first strategic and qualitative project in our country for clean energy, on the path to a complete transition to reliance on renewable energy, in which he directed for raising the pace of work, completing all preparations, and beginning the gradual entry of the station into the electricity system of the capital, Aden, during the coming period.
At the end of his speech, Lamlas appreciated the support of the brothers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the capital, Aden, and our country in general in various fields and sectors.
For his part, the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Eng. Manea bin Yameen, confirmed that we are witnessing a historic moment with the delivery of the last components of the solar energy station provided by the brothers in the UAE to the capital, Aden.
Eng. Manea said that work to complete the station is proceeding in full swing, and during the next few period we will witness the operation of the first strategic project for alternative and clean energy.
