In presence of President Al-Zubaidi .. Military and Security Committee briefs Presidential Leadership Council on results of “Joint Committee”

The Presidential Leadership Council, in its meeting on Saturday, with the participation of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy President of the Presidential Leadership Council resumed discussing the latest developments in the local situation and the progress of institutional and administrative reforms.
The Council received a briefing from the Chairman of the Military and Security Committee, Major General Haitham Qassem Taher, on the results of the work of the joint committee and the steps to accomplish its tasks to achieve security and stability for the integration of the branches of the armed forces.
The meeting reviewed a message submitted by the United Nations Special Envoy, Hans Grundberg, on the UN truce and the proposal to extend it, in view of the intransigence of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias in responding to their commitments to reduce the escalation.
