In support for the Southern Transitional Council and Celebration of launching its branch and the national assembly of Hadhramaut, a mass feminine event held in Saioun

[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Saioun[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] A mass feminine event was held on Friday afternoon at Al-Sedda Al-Qeblia Square to support the southern transitional council and in celebration of launching its branch and the national assembly of Hadhramaut. The event included folk dances, poems and speech of the Southern Women Union in Hadhramaut, recited by Shaffa Al-Gunaid, a feminist, political activist and head of the union in Saioun. She spoke about the significance of launching the council’s branch and the national assembly as the cornerstone of establishing the southern parliament of the future southern state. She called for all women of the south to support the council and asserted that the southern woman will play a major role in the future federal state of the south. At the end of the event Al-Suhail Theatre Band produced a play titled by “Our Cause … Our Goal”.
