SMA NEWS – MUKALA
Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, a member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and its official spokesman, and Mr. Ali Saleh Al-Hamimi, the acting head of the executive body of the local leadership (EBLL) of Hadhramaut, attended the theatrical performance organized by the Cultural Administration in the EBLL of Hadramout on Thursday to commemorate the seventeenth anniversary of the Tolerance and Reconciliation Day on the 13th of January.

The theatrical show, which was directed by Mr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Tamimi and performed by the Domestic Theater Troupe, included a comic retrospect of the trapping pitfalls into which the people of the South fell when they signed the parlous unification with Yemen.

In his speech at the opening of the theatrical show, Mr. Al-Hamimi applauded the Radfan Assembly, which turned the Black January into a spark of hope for reconciliation, tolerance, and rapprochement of the southern ranks, expressing the pride of the southerners in this great achievement, whose memory we are celebrating today, and our people have made immense strides in the course of the liberation revolution.

The head of the Cultural Administration, Mr. Abdullah Saeed Bawazir, stressed the importance of celebrating this grand occasion to achieve more southern solidarity and cohesiveness and to fortify our internal front in the face of hatched conspiracies and intrigues, offering his thanks to the artists participating in the theatrical performance, and the guest of honour, the artist Atef Munasar Al-Rashidi, who entertained the audience with his melodious playing of the oud.

The celebration was attended by members of the National Assembly, the two EBLL of the STC in the governorate and ALMukalla district, and those who are interested in cultural and artistic activities.
