The Governor of Hadramout, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, on wednesday in Mukalla, met with the internal Southern National Dialogue team, headed by the deputy head of the committee, Abdulsalam Massaad, and with participation of the Southern Transitional Council spokesman, member of the council presidency and Head of the national southern media authority, Ali Al-Kathiri.
The meeting discussed the efforts of the team and the level of the goals reached through its meetings with various southern components.
The team members presented the outcome of their meetings in the previous stage and the ongoing preparations for holding the comprehensive consultative meeting of the various components and civil society in Hadramout, to agree on a project to formulate the foundations and principles of a national pact.
The governor expressed his welcome to the team, pointing to the difficulty of the current stage, which requires unifying the internal ranks and giving assurances to all components of a fair representation of the governorates to manage their administrative, financial and military affairs.
He called for maintaining unity, rapprochement and dialogue, and ensuring the continuity of security and stability with the participation of all components and parties.
