Intensive campaigns to improve hygiene and cleanliness of Aden the capital

Intensive and comprehensive hygiene campaigns carried out by the Hygiene and Improvement Fund in a number of districts of the capital, Aden.
The Director General of the Hygiene and Improvement Fund, Eng. Qaid Rashid Anam, said in a statement that the intensive hygiene campaigns are carried out in implementation of the directives of the Minister of State, Governor of Aden the capital and Head of the Fund’s Board of Directors, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, in order to activate hygiene works in all districts in Aden and within the fund’s plan to keep pace with the current situation of Aden as the capital, and as it is witnessing urban expansion and a rising number of people coming to it.
He added that today’s campaigns targeted each of Sira district and aimed to remove waste, garbage and dust in Al-Baghda neighborhood, Al-Tilal Club, and the main and internal streets, with the participation of dump trucks.
He added that in the district of Sheikh Othman, the campaign activities targeted Al-Sila neighborhood, Maswat Street and Al-Salfi Street, in which large quantities of waste and dust were removed, while the campaign activities continued in Dar Saad district, aiming to remove dust, waste and garbage from the area and the main streets, amusement park line, and Aden Taiz line from Al-Karaa to the Al-Safina roundabout.
IAnam said that in KhorMaksar district, the campaign’s work targeted the removal of waste, random trees and dust from the embassies area.
These campaigns were accompanied by the usual daily work of the teams and cleaners in all the streets, neighborhoods and areas of the districts of the capital, Aden.
