International team in Aden the capital to examine level of achievement in agricultural development projects

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Abdul Malik Naji, discussed with the delegation of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), headed by Eng. Tawfiq Al-Zubri, Director of the Country Program, who is currently visiting our country, projects in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, the level of achievement in them, and the relations of joint cooperation between the two sides. .
The Undersecretary reviewed the importance of implementing the IFAD Fund for agricultural and fisheries development projects aimed at improving livelihoods, especially with regard to the projects currently being implemented, as well as future projects, in addition to the possibility of developing the General Authority for Marine Science Research.
For his part, the head of the delegation affirmed IFAD’s support for expanding public activity to implement the targeted projects, expressing keenness to increase the support provided to our country to enhance food security.
