Khalifa Ben Zaid for Humanitarian Aids Develops Oil and Gas Sector in Socotra

Khalifa Ben Zaid for Humanitarian Aids initiated major projects for developing oil and gas sector in Socotra including the construction of two fuel stations in Hadibo and Qualansia. In addition, the organization established units for Filling of gas cylinders (150 cylinders per day) for local use of cooking gas. Furthermore, the organization established tanks for oil extracts including a 1.5 million litters’ tank for oil and 2 million litters’ tank for diesel.
The organization also announced the establishment of four fuel stations in Nouged, Alama and eastern zone in addition to a fuel tank and sea pipes through oil tankers.
According to official statements of the organization, a new plant for filling gas cylinders (450 cylinders per day) will be finished soon.
