Lahj Security Belt Exposes Details of Smuggling Operation by Northern Armed Gang

The checkpoint of the Iron Factory of the security belt forces previously found RPG rockets and machine gun ammunitions during a routine check of a civilian car (Hyundai) coming from Taiz to Aden.
Several sources indicated that the car driver (M. A. A.) confessed that he committed several smuggling operations with the help of (H. A. H.) as they used to deliver the car with the smuggled goods then the car was returned to them several hours later.
Sources also indicated that the accused didn’t mention the receiver of the smuggled goods as some armed gangs provide those receivers with ammunition and explosives. Sources also indicated that the accused will be sent to relevant bodies of concern with the confiscations for more interrogation.
Security belt forces continue their security missions in Lahj regularly with high degree of alertness to maintain the stable state of security in the governorate.
