# Lahj .. seizing large quantities of smuggled and prohibited medications
A checkpoint belongs to the 4th Hazm Brigade, which is led by Colonel Wafi Al-Ghbis Al-Subaihi, located in Al-Bayda region of Tor Al-Baha District in Lahj Governorate, on Saturday, December 28, managed to seize large quantities of smuggled and prohibited medications.
The commander of Al-Bayda checkpoint, Moataz Saeed Al-Subaihi, said that after thorough inspection of one of the cars heading to Taiz governorate, there were found large quantities of smuggled and prohibited medications, and treatments belongs to oncology centers, which cannot be sold, which were tightly covered inside the doors and under the chairs and sides of the car.
Al-Subaihi said that the driver of the car, who was coming from Aden and heading to the governorate of Ibb, offered one million YR to the members of the checkpoint after discovering the medications in exchange for allowing him to pass with them, but they refused.
Al-Subaihi added that they have taken legal measures and refer the seized medications to the related in the brigade to complete the procedures and deliver them to the associated authorities.
It is worth noting that the security checkpoint belonging to the 4th Brigade units located in Tor al-Baha, Haifan, and Yerim fronts, have caught during the last period many smugglers, contraband and explosive materials, Janabi and antique swords.
